Advocacy: The circulating platforms online made it easier to speak about the sense of injustice a person is experiencing, but it also made it tough. Other people's judgment will never cease to exist, but it shouldn't hinder the victim from defending themselves; however, we all have different endurance capacities. Some can, some cannot, but they should not be compelled to do what they are unable to. It takes time to develop courage; it does not happen overnight. During the course of time, we can guide them progressively, little by little, as they battle not only their abuser but also their own selves, due to the detrimental effect of violence on one's mental health. Let us be an ally and a support system for them while they deal with the abuse, rather than adding to the burden they already bear. Standing up for those who can't is one thing; being their support while they establish the strength to stand up for themselves is quite another. I advocate for making this city an oasis of security for victims of violence and abuse by providing comfort while sheltering them as they gradually rebuild their lives together.

Advocacy: Education is for everyone, and that is the message of my advocacy, which aims to inspire young people not only in my barangay but throughout the entire city to pursue their education because some young people cannot afford it. Help them understand the value of education for children and the positive effects their future education will have. AVOID SEXUAL VIOLENCE, too. In my ideal city, every student can pursue their civil right to an education without fear of violence or harassment. We acknowledge that sexual violence is both a root of injustice and one of its effects.

Advocacy: As a Filipino citizen, I know how important our culture is.

Respecting the elderly or anyone else is part of our Filipino culture, using “PO” and “OPO”. Just like our parents, we will never forget the respect they received. Another is how much we enjoy enjoyable activities, such as singing. Filipinos will never stop singing; they often do it for fun. Even celebrating Christmas for a long day is our culture because as most Filipinos are religious, the Lord's birthday is always in their hearts and minds. So embrace and learn the different Filipino cultures because you will not only learn about happiness but also the love of fellow human beings for each other. The culture you can use for life. When it comes to respect, no one can match the person who has it.

Advocacy: As a passionate candidate for Binibining Malabon 2023, I am dedicated to championing the cause of empowering our youth by nurturing their individuality and overall well-being. I believe that by working collectively with our community members, we can create an environment where children are supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

My community advocacy involves implementing comprehensive programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children, including education, physical health, mental health, and the discovery of their unique passions and talents. By offering a holistic approach, we can ensure that each child in Malabon is given an equal opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive.

I envision fostering a community where children feel confident in their identity, resilient in the face of adversity, and empowered to make a difference. This will enable them to evolve into responsible, compassionate, and productive citizens, ready to take on the challenges of the world and contribute positively to society.

If I'm given the opportunity to become Binibining Malabon 2023, I will use my platform to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and mobilize resources to make this vision a reality. Together, we can build a brighter, more inclusive, and prosperous future for the city of Malabon and the generations that follow.

Advocate for Women's Rights and Anti-Violence Against Women and Children"

The call for raising the voice and rights of women grows louder and stronger as an alarming rise of violence against women and children with the strike of the Covid-19 pandemic becomes higher. Being a woman who has a platform to influence, I stand to advocate for women and children in advancing their rights and fighting against all forms of abuse. To be able to use my platform in raising awareness that abuse does not only come with physical violence but there exists the form of psychological, emotional, and economic abuse in the eyes of law.

Women's voices can no longer be shunned by fear and threat as long as there is a woman who stands to fight and protect these rights. And I, as a woman, stand with this.

Barangay Hulong Duhat

Advocacy: As I stand here before all of you today, I am not merely representing Hulong Duhat, I also stand for all the women of all generations, especially since it is one of my foremost purposes in entering this fete. I call for the empowerment of women — and I aim to proliferate this thought by of course, epitomizing first what an empowered woman is: confident, smart, beautiful, but most of all, utilitarian. By showing people this, I hope to set an example to all the young women out there to step out from their comfort zones and earn themselves a spot in society so that they may reach their full potential. I am Paula Albar and I am for giving the women the opportunity to thrive in society, for whicever aspect it may be, by promoting their sense if self-worth. Girls, speak up and take up space, show others how despite the shackles society had us tethered, we are already in an era where our ideals as women can easily break and untie these chains. Again, girls, stood up.

Advocacy: ADVOCATE FOR PROVISION AND EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN EXPERIENCING NEGLECTION

Upon looking into the city of Malabon I've seen enough, child neglection is evident in our society wherein it can't be hidden from us, the hierarchy and basic needs are not met. As a binibini of Malabon I will be the voice of the underprivileged and marginalized children that experience hardships. Collaborate with the leaders to prioritize the basic needs not just the children but also the malabonians who is facing social issues in today's world. I know that I’m here with a purpose and that is to show change, and call for change.

Since I have seen firsthand how challenging it is for them to face reality on their own without the right support, I stand here in support of the preservation of children who need good education and care. I visited the Pangarap Foundation recently and thought about how life may be for young kids in such institutions. Being the voice of thousands of people is a difficult task, but nothing is impossible, and I know and firmly believe that the position for which we are running is a reflection of change in our city.

Therefore, I will continue my journey as a binibini to be the role model not just to the children, but also for all of fellow malabonians. I know what my role will bear a chance to change a life.

Advocacy: FSL or Filipino Sign Language is recognized as the national sign language of the Philippines under R.A 11106. The Filipino Sign Language Act encourage to increase our knowledge and understanding about the rights of deaf accessibility.

As a psychology student and member of the hearing community, I believe that everyone should be educated on the beauty of all languages. As I pursue psychotherapy, I want to learn how to sign so that I can communicate effectively with my future patients without the assistance of an interpreter. Teachers at Amang Rodriguez Elementary School have begun training in Filipino Sign Language, while other establishments have their own sign language cards to look for when a customer is a member of the aforementioned group. I advocate that teaching FSL to hearing people is a little step toward bettering the world.

This topic is close to my heart for some reasons, my grandma got diagnosed with breast cancer i've seen the horror of it, how it ruins her body, her mental health and how it tests her faith, but you know she's a fighter and decided to beat it which she did and i'm so proud of it and to all who keep trying and fighting this mad sickness, you are all amazing.

Advocacy: Advocate for Promoting Sustainable Tourism and Protecting the Environment

In the City of Malabon, where we promote not just economic growth but also the preservation of the city's natural beauty and cultural history, I sincerely support engaging in sustainable tourism activities. Behind the tourist destinations, gastronomic experiences, and productive industries that Malabon has to offer, there should also be responsible individuals who can take care of its environment. I have always believed that we, the next generation are the ones who should be active, innovative, and passionate about our beloved city and the entire planet. From our own little ways to implementing regulation, everyone can contribute to this. Valuing both tourism and the environment will have a positive impact on building a resilient community for a better, healthier, and sustainable future.

Advocacy: Upholding Street Children's Right to Education.

Every child matters; therefore, advocacy for the protection of child rights is relevant. I recognize and stand by the fact that street children have rights like every other child has, especially in education. Implementing an approach that emphasizes child rights is the most effective way to influence positive and long-term change for children. I will be the voice of justice and change to live and fight for a worthy cause and to be a bearer of light, hope, and justice. My voice will speak up for what is right and uphold every street child's right to education. I will lend a hand to protect and empower street children to advocate for themselves and to make sure that they are always heard. The only way we can give street children their rights to education is to be bold enough to take the first step and lead the way for others to do the same. Let's not look away from their rights; they are worthy of having more.

Advocacy: Youth Empowerment and Leadership Leading to a Positive Social Change

This advocacy has been a driving force within me since I first entered the pageant industry. In today's world, we witness younger generations tirelessly pursuing their passions with empowerment and determination, and I proudly associate myself with this circle of young leaders. However, it cannot be denied that many young people have lost their faith in our country's system, owing to the issues of corruption, poverty, inequality, harassment, and poor healthcare. Nonetheless, the youth of today remain resilient and united, with the ability to express themselves without any reservation or one-sided expectations. Thus, my advocacy seeks to reignite the spirit, heart, and mind of every young person by instilling within them the power of empowerment and encouragement, which will in turn inspire them to become effective leaders in their souls, society, and nation. I am dedicated to uplifting the welfare and perspectives of everyone, with a special focus on the youth. When equipped with essential and transferable skills, young people have the potential to lead the charge towards global change and steer the nation towards a brighter future. My aspiration is to make a significant impact on this world and contribute to our nation's heroes, just as our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, once stated, "The youth is the hope of our future."

Together, let us strive to eradicate the cycle of children having children, safeguarding our future innovators, movers of transformation, and leaders. Join me in this noble endeavor to empower our youth and secure a brighter tomorrow for generations to come.
