Sabbath Light

The View from Rest

Sometimes, God leads us up mountains not to show us how high we can climb, but how small our worries really are.
When we pause long enough to breathe His peace, the world below—its noise, its hurry, its endless striving—suddenly fades into silence.

The Sabbath is that mountain of stillness we’re invited to climb each week.
It’s where our anxious hearts catch their breath, where gratitude replaces pressure, and where the view reminds us that we are already held in the hands of the Maker of the hills.

We rest not because the work is finished, but because His grace is.
And from that holy height, we see everything differently—not from the top of our achievements, but from the depth of His love.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills—my help comes from the Lord.” — Psalm 121:1–2
