The Payatas Healthcare and Hospital On Wheels Surgical Center

By Dr. Juan “Jim” Sanchez

People gathered and waited patiently to be served at the Payatas Healthcare and Hospital On Wheels Surgical Center during its medical-surgical mission on April 15, 2026.

The large number of patients served in the medical-surgical mission this week clearly reflects the great need in this community.

Payatas is home to nearly 300,000 residents, many from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Through Hospital On Wheels, we remain firmly committed to our three core goals:

Service — providing accessible medical and surgical care

Education — promoting preventive healthcare in the community

Training — preparing the next generation of doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers.

With your continued help and strong support, we can achieve these goals. Our hope is to make this center a working model—a template that others, especially our leaders in government, can see, learn from, and replicate for the benefit of more communities.

To all our Friends, Supporters and Partners in Service, thank you for your continued trust and confidence in our mission. Because of your support, together we have been able to serve and bring hope to thousands of our less fortunate countrymen.
